Jenn's Review:
This novella gave me just enough to have me intrigued and
left me wanting more. It takes place over the course of a week. But, there was
plenty to happen in Kyle’s life and she has no idea what is happening to her.
Kyle is in school and works at night. While at work a man
comes in, sits at his regular booth and doesn’t speak to anyone. This not just
any man. He has been visiting Kyle’s dreams for months and she has no idea why.
She never sees his eyes but for some reason, knows what they may look like.
Another matter surrounding Kyle are the deaths by a serial
killer. The police are baffled because they cannot find the cause of death. No
marks and no drugs. However, the bodies are much colder than they should be.
Then Kyle starts noticing something about herself. While she is spending time
with Colter, he begins to freezing. As in lips are turning blue and he’s
shivering! But, this doesn’t scare him and he can’t stay away from her.
Everything comes to a head one night at work. She touches a
patron at the restaurant where she works. Before she knows it, she is being
beat by this woman. But why? What is going on and why did the man from her
dreams save her?
Like I said, just enough to get me interested! I am looking
forward to seeing how special Kyle really is and why she was chosen.
