Excerpt
MASON
On cue, I spotted the lights headed in our direction. “Look,” I instructed her, pointing at the lights off in the distance. “Do you see them?” I felt her nod her head against my back as she peaked over my shoulder to spot them.
“Actually, here, you sit in front of me so that you can see better,” I said as I climbed off to allow her to scoot up. I took my spot behind her and looped my arms around her waist. I kissed the top of her head and inhaled her sweet scent. Her eyes were locked on the lights, wondering what was going to happen, but I felt her pressing her body against mine trying to snuggle up. I groaned aloud when she wiggled her ass against my growing cock, and she giggled. The little vixen knew exactly what she was doing.
We continued to track the lights in the sky as they grew closer. As the plane made it’s final descent for landing, I squeezed my arms around her tightly and leaned down to whisper in her ear. “I love you, Scarlett. Nothing will ever change that.”

Sandy's Review

First let me tell you what I loved about this book.  Erin Noelle can write!  The characters are well written, the plot is well written, the musical playlist through the story are wonderful and Erin Noelle can bring the sexy and that’s well written too.
Now let me tell you what I didn’t like about Ambrosia.  Please feel free to fling rotten tomatoes at me because I may be in the minority.   It’s been 8 months and Scarlett STILL doesn’t know what to do.   In Metamorphosis (Book #1) you were either Team Mason or Team Ash – well now we have a 3rd guy added to the mix.  Ladies welcome Max.  Talk about an embarrassment of riches.
Though I will say that Ambrosia lets us get to know the guys better and that I think is good.  It kind of makes us understand why it is so hard for Scarlett to make a choice between them.  When she finally made a choice I was like “really?!”.  However, is that really where her heart lives?  Well, you’ll have to wait for Book #3 to find out.
Having said all that – am I looking forward to Book #3?  Hell yes!  I want to know who the heck our girl finally chooses.   I’ll also be hoping in my heart of hearts that we get an HEA.
Would I recommend you read it?  Yes, because I think most of us would really enjoy Ambrosia.

***Sin at Sea by Emma Nichols Promotional Post***

Blurb:
When Alysin decided to surprise her boyfriend at work with dinner, the surprise was on her. Since he was going at it with his secretary on the conference table, she packed a bag and called her BFF. Jolie and Alysin had been traveling the country, working as digital nomads for ten years ever since graduation. Taking this as a sign it was time for a new move, they decided to take a cruise, regroup, and make a plan.

Then she meets Mr. Bedroom Eyes. Following her lead, they pretend to be married so that she can rid herself of the guy who started hitting on her before the boat left the dock. Though it was supposed to be a momentary arrangement, he asks her to take it one step farther. Then another and another. The cruise promises to be memorable in every way that matters.

Along the way, Alysin learns that she won't have to fake an orgasm if she's with someone who knows what to do, that not all men suck, but the best ones suck really well, and that sometimes what starts out as something pretend, can fast become something completely real. Will the woman who lives life with no regrets, regret that she made that stupid rule about not exchanging names and contact info?

Excerpt:
The new guy sat down.  I stared over at him.  “Hey, don’t mind me.  I just ended up getting drawn into your little charade.  Hope you don’t mind if I enjoy my meal while we keep up appearances?”  He smiled

“Nope.  We’re good,” I replied.

Though I was smiling at him, I had little to say.  There was so much going on in my mind…and thanks to Jolie, having an orgasm wasn’t part of that.  Still, I wasn’t going to turn down the possibility of some amazing guilt-free sex with a hot guy for anything.   Only I wasn’t sure how to gain his attention.  My smile hadn’t worked.  The kiss hadn’t accomplished anything.  What was it going to take to get a man like that to be interested in spending a few meaningless days on a cruise with me?  Guess I’d simply have to try the direct approach.

“Are you married?”  If that didn’t break the ice, nothing would.

“No,” he said, cocking his head.

I leaned in.  “Really?  Because you look like the marrying kind.”  I took another bite of my potato salad.

Throwing his head back to laugh, he said, “I run too fast.  No one can catch me, let alone keep up!”

“Thank you for saving me.  I’m here with my friend.  She is napping right now.  I’m not used to having to fend off guys anymore,” I admitted as I kept on eating.  Isn’t it nice when you don’t want anything from someone and you can just be yourself?  That was the freedom I felt around Mr. Bedroom Eyes.

He smiled and I saw he started to extend his hand.  I knew he was about to introduce himself, so I stopped him.  “Listen, you can tell me your name, but I’m just going to forget it.  I’m lousy with names.”

“Okay, so we’re not exchanging names?  Is there anything you would like to exchange?”  He smirked.

“Yes, as a matter of fact.  How about bodily fluids?”  I smiled and stared at him with a suggestive look.

He…choked on his Coke.  When he finally stopped coughing, I was about finished eating.  I don’t let much come between my food and me even if I don’t look like it.

“Sorry, I’m not used to women being so direct,” he said with a smile as he wiped his face.

“I don’t play,” I said honestly.  Then I stood.  I am known for my exits.  As I turned, giving him full view of what I considered my best feature, I shot over my shoulder, “Think about it.”  Then I walked away.  Always…and I mean always leave them wanting more.  I didn’t have to look back to know that he was staring at me.  Let him stare.  With my head up and shoulders back, I headed to the elevator.

***The Domino Effect by Jill Elaine Hughes Blog Tour Stop and Giveaway***

Title: The Domino Effect (The Domino Series)
Author:  Jill Elaine Hughes
Genre: Erotic Thriller
Publication Date:  March 24, 2013
Event organized by: Literati Author Services

Synopsis

Twenty-one-year-old college student and aspiring journalist Nancy Delaney’s nose for news smells a hot story idea when it comes to international playboy and artist Peter Rostovich. But as she works to get her story, she soon becomes intimately entangled with the mysterious Rostovich, who finds her irresistible. He becomes Nancy’s ticket to sexual awakening, and she soon discovers she has an appetite for bondage, too.

And there’s far more to Rostovich than just his art — he’s involved in a strange, violent criminal underworld that kidnaps Nancy and spirits her halfway around the world, where she’s held prisoner and made to serve as private Dominant-for-hire somewhere in the former Soviet Union. Will the sexual powers Rostovich helped awaken in her be Nancy’s only hope for escape?

Jenn's Review
Nancy is going to school to be a journalist and does freelance work on the side. It gives her extra money on top of her cocktail waitressing. We meet Nancy as her roommate, Hannah, is pleading with her to take a job she has for that night. Hannah would rather go on her date, but she also uses the excuse she needs to write a piece for the Symphony she is attending that night. Reluctantly, she agrees but has no idea what she will be getting herself into. She doesn’t understand contemporary art; it’s not really her thing. She is to do her best to get an interview with the artist, Peter Rostovich. Even though he is a total recluse and hates critics and journalists. Should be easy as cake!

Nancy is immediately drawn to the art. All different kinds are on exhibit. All showing nudity and something else. Bondage. It’s doing something to her that she has no experience with, as she is a virgin.  And a brief and explosive encounter with Peter leaves her shaken. Especially after she passes out! You see, having your wrists tied together, after looking at the arousing art, did something to her. She wanted to know more but it couldn’t be with someone like Peter, could it? The night continues on and is actually cut short by Peter’s models being not so professional behind the curtain. Ahem.
Nancy gets the scoop of her career thus far! And they want more. The editor actually wants an expose’ on Mr. Rostovich and she decides she is doing to get it by any means necessary. Luckily or unluckily for Nancy, Peter is standing behind her as she ends her phone call. He asks her to dinner as an apology for how the night ended. He acts as though he is appalled at the events and states they weren’t planned. She accepts in hopes of getting some of the info she needs. There is some talking but not much in the form of answers to her questions. She ends up leaving quickly; she’s out of her element and needs to get away from him. No man has ever turned her on the way he does and she doesn’t know how to handle it.
Trying to get settled after a late night she gets a text telling her to check her email. He is willing to give her the information she needs for her articles if she agrees to have dinner with him. At his hotel. In his suite. She has a feeling where that could lead and she wants to go and doesn’t want to go. After much debate she ends up going. She needs the information for her article. She also needs to lose her virginity! Peter ends up showing her things that she’s imagined and it doesn’t have anything to do with his art! They get back to that, in a sense, a little later. Unfortunately, it doesn’t end here with declarations of love. No, Peter warns her, telling her she really shouldn’t get involved with him and she has no idea what to think of that. What she does know is that she wants him again and often!
Within a few hours of going home to work on her article, she is kidnapped. This person noticed her months ago and was biding his time to make her his. But now that she isn’t pure, he has other plans. Nancy and Hannah are both taken and knocked unconscious. And, Nancy makes a deal that she will do whatever is asked of her if Hannah is released and taken to a doctor. Deal accepted and she’s taken to the Ukraine. At this point, Nancy does what she has to do to survive and hopefully escape. She HAS to become someone else. She is told to forget her old life; it will do her no good. But her old life better be what saves her. She is going to use her skills as a journalist to save herself. Or she hopes!
I really enjoyed this story! There was pleasure and suspense with a few twists and turns along the way. There is a cliffhanger ending and I’m anxious to see what happens next. I gladly give The Domino Effect 4/5 stars.

***Every Rose by Lynetta Halat Book Spotlight***

Book: Every Rose
Author: Lynetta Halat
An update has been added if you already own the book! An epilogue and bonus materials are now included!
Synopsis:
What do you do when you realize you were foolish enough to throw away true, unconditional love?
Lorraina Dabney turns her back on her creativity and tumultuous upbringing to embark on a college career that will lead her to law school and to becoming what she values most in life—a controlled, powerful, respected woman. When she stumbles upon her childhood friend's artwork, she feels inspired to reconnect with him and her former self.  This onslaught of emotion will send Lorraina into a tale-spin to figure out exactly why she abandoned all that she was, all that she could've been.

Coming from his own chaotic upbringing, Michael falls quickly and deeply in love with Lorraina at a tender age. Even her rejection can't stand in the way of his obsession. When she starts to date other boys, however, Michael finally relents, causing him to spiral further into a world filled with violence, drugs, alcohol, and women. Realizing his lifestyle will only lead to his further estrangement from Lorraina, Michael sets about to turn himself around before going to get his girl.
Michael Bang will have Lorraina questioning everything.
 EXCERPT:
Michael shakes his head and grins at me. I fight the sudden urge to run my hands through that silky midnight hair of his. “Always so quick to label and categorize.  I guess that’s what will make you an excellent attorney. Assess. Label. Categorize. Add up the W’s. ” He leans in a little and whispers, “How about we just go with the flow? See where it leads us. Label later?” He raises his brows, offering my type-A dominant personality a direct challenge.

Caution to the wind, very atypical for me, I reply, “OK. I’m up for it.” Challenge accepted. “You?” Challenge returned.

“You bet, Lorraina,” he rasps softly.

He leans into my door and places his hands on top of mine. I’m suddenly quite anxious and ever so grateful for the door between us. My hands get clammy and my heart races. Blood races and pounds in my ears, making me feel very much awake now. One hand moves up to brush my hair from my forehead and moves down feather light until his knuckles brush across my cheekbone and lips. He pulls his thumb slowly across my lips. It’s excruciating. It’s exquisite.

Both of his hands come forward to frame my face gently, and he pulls me in for a kiss. A too quick kiss. It’s over before I realize it’s even begun. He gives me a half smile and turns and walks away.
“Michael!” My voice barely sounds human. More animal in nature. It’s raw with ache.

He turns and takes two long strides back to me. This time when he grasps my head it’s anything but gentle. He pulls my lip in and nudges my lips open with his. All rational thought escapes me. I mirror his grasp and enjoy the fullness I feel with him in my mouth. I give as good as I get. This kiss is nothing like our two before. I savor it.

When he turns to walk away, I release a long pent up breath. If he would’ve looked back, he would’ve seen that I was the one on my knees now.

He’s already lost her once and he won’t lose her again. They come from two different worlds that are threatening to tear them apart…can they make it this time around?

Excerpt
Nora hopped into the back and started handing me the heavy boxes so I could bring it all into the house. When it was all unloaded she stood on the tailgate and held out her hand so I could help her to the ground. Instead of grabbing her hand, I wrapped my arms around her thighs to lift her, letting her body slide down mine until her feet touched the ground. I kept my hands on her hips and looked her right in the eye so she would know exactly what was coming.
“Jake – don’t,” she stammered, but didn’t pull away.
“I have to,” I told her, as I leaned forward and gently placed my lips on hers. I held them there for just a moment before pulling back to look at her, and my heart felt like it was beating out of my chest.
“I – I can’t do this, Jake.”
“Then don’t kiss me back.”
I leaned in to kiss her again and tightened my arms around her. Cautiously I moved my lips against hers and brought my hand up to touch her face. I heard her moan softly against my lips and it was all the encouragement I needed. I pressed up against her and when I felt her lips part for me, I let my tongue find hers and tilted her head as I deepened the kiss. As my lips began moving more intensely, she wrapped her arms around my neck and crushed her body against mine.
The need I felt for her turned me completely inside out. I hadn’t planned on kissing her today, but when I looked up at her standing on the tailgate, illuminated from the light of the setting sun, I knew I couldn’t wait. I had to know what it was that I was feeling, and if it was something real or if it was just remnants of the past clouding the present. Still, I wasn’t expecting this. Instead of curbing my appetite for her, it only intensified it. I’d never needed anything as much as I needed Nora.
When I finally pulled away, I brushed my thumb against her cheek and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “God, I missed you, Nora.”
“This doesn’t change anything,” she said breathlessly, “I still have to go back to New York.”

“We’ll see,” I said simply.

Book Description:
Stalking and restraining orders are a thing of Alayna Pierce’s past. With her MBA newly in hand, she has her future figured out – move up at the nightclub she works at and marry the manager, David. He’s perfect for her because, although he’s attractive, he doesn’t get her all turned inside out and upside down like some other men have. It’s a safe plan, one that assures she’ll remain in control of her obsessive love disorder.
But what Alayna didn’t figure on is Hudson Pierce, the new owner of the nightclub. He’s smart, rich, and gorgeous – the kind of guy Alayna knows to stay away from if she wants to keep her past tendencies in check. Except, Hudson’s fixed his sights on her. He wants her in his bed and makes no secret of his plans to seduce her. Avoiding him becomes impossible after he offers a business proposition Alayna can’t turn down and she’s drawn further into his universe, unable to resist his gravitational pull.

Soon Alayna’s charmed by Hudson in every way possible and the control over her old behaviors slip. When she learns Hudson has a dark history of his own, she realizes too late that she’s fallen for the worst man she could possibly get involved with. Or maybe their less than ideal pasts give them an opportunity to heal each other and finally find the love their lives have been missing.

Excerpt:
I moved to the door and placed my hand on the knob. But Hudson’s palm pressed on the top of the door, holding it closed and trapping me between him and the wall.
He lowered his head to my ear. “Wait, Alayna.” His breath tickled and burned simultaneously. I closed my eyes, taking it in, bearing it. “I apologize for overwhelming you. That wasn’t my intent. But I want you to know that whether or not you decide to help with my situation, I will continue to seduce you. I’m a man who gets what he wants. And I want you.”
Um, holy wow.
Turned on did not begin to describe how his statement made me feel.
Then his mouth was on me, nibbling at my earlobe. I drew in a sharp breath. Involuntarily, I let my head roll to the side, granting him better access.
And, man, did he take what I gave, nipping a trail down my neck, sending ripples of desire through my belly. I moved my hand off the doorknob and grabbed his arm to steady myself. He curled his other arm around me, his hand settling on my breast. I gasped at the contact, leaning in to his touch.
He kneaded my breast as he nuzzled his face in my hair. “I should have told you earlier,” he said softly. “You look absolutely beautiful tonight. I can’t keep my eyes off you. Serious and sexy wrapped into one package.” He pressed against me and I could feel his erection at my lower back. “Kiss me, Alayna.”
It was so hot how he used my name freely. As if it was his to use. And in many ways it was. Almost no one called me anything but Laynie. He’d claimed my name when he claimed me.
All that was left was for me to accept it.

***Breaking The Rules by H.B. Heizner Cover Reveal***

Release date: August 1st
Author: H.B. Heinzer

Synopsis
Growing up in small town Wisconsin, Carly Turner couldn't wait to escape when she graduated high school. Now, she's living the life in New York City, even if she isn't seeing her name in lights like she used to dream about at night. She's living paycheck-to-paycheck, working behind the scenes in small theaters off Broadway. When there's an equipment malfunction the week before opening night, Carly makes a call that winds up changing everything.

Life in the city isn't all it's cracked up to be. While she feels like she's getting closer to making the move from behind the scenes to center stage, she misses being surrounded by people who understand the quirks that come from living in a town of five thousand people. That, and the fact that he's sexy as sin, make Adam everything she feels like she's missing.

The only problem? He's her best friend's kid brother...

Adam Sanders wants to settle down, find a good woman and start a family like he sees so many of his friends doing. But how is he supposed to meet Ms. Right when he's constantly on the road for work? When he's sent to New York to handle a repair that would typically be contracted out as a favor to his boss, he's just about to his breaking point.

Everything changes when the stagehand sent to open the theater for him is none other than his big sister's childhood friend. The same girl he lusted after as a teenager. Could this be fate's way of showing him that he was looking in the wrong place for love?

As Adam and Carly's friendship develops, lines will be crossed and rules will be broken. Will they be able to come out the other side without destroying everything they had back in Brooklyn?

Teaser:
"Hello?" A deep voice resonated from backstage. The way the timbre of the man’s voice echoed off the acoustic panels in the empty theater sent a shiver down Carly’s spine. She was surrounded daily by men whose voices could melt butter, but there was something about this particular voice that heightened her senses.
"Out here," she shouted, still wrestling to pull the set piece out of the curtain without causing any damage Dax would make her fix later. She blew a stray hair away from her eyes as the lighting contractor rounded the corner.
When she looked up, she did a double-take. The broad shoulders and angled jaw were all new but there was no mistaking the icy blue eyes looking down at her.  They were the same eyes she had seen nearly every day of her childhood. "Adam?"
"Carly Turner? What are the odds..."
When she had moved away from home, Adam Sanders had been a bit gangly and not nearly this tall. She figured he would have grown up to be the man a woman grew to love for his heart despite his awkward appearance. The fact that it looked like he wasn’t opposed to spending time in the gym and he had lost the child-like face did nothing to settle her nerves.Carly shook the thoughts out of her head. This was Adam, the boy who had been the little brother Carly never had. Even if she had never felt that familial bond with him, there was definitely a rule about drooling over your best friend's little brother.
"Well, I think they're probably long enough that there's no point in buying a lottery ticket tonight," Oh god, did I just compare seeing Adam to winning the lottery?
Author Bio:

With the exception of three years spent in the middle of Nebraska, H.B. Heinzer has called southern Wisconsin home. During that time in Nebraska, she imagined one of her favorite authors living on the far western edge of the county, just south of the highway. At the time, becoming a novelist was a distant dream for her. Now, she is the author living in that location. Ironically, she later found out that same favorite author lives just outside the town HB lived in for the first eighteen years of her life.
