***Review*** Play (A Stage Dive Novel) by Kylie Scott

Title: Play (Stage Dive, #2)
Author: Kylie Scott
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 25, 2014

Kylie Scott returns with the highly anticipated follow-up to international bestseller LICK.

Synopsis
Mal Ericson, drummer for the world famous rock band Stage Dive, needs to clean up his image fast—at least for a little while. Having a good girl on his arm should do the job just fine. Mal doesn’t plan on this temporary fix becoming permanent, but he didn’t count on finding the one right girl.
Anne Rollins never thought she’d ever meet the rock god who plastered her teenage bedroom walls—especially not under these circumstances. Anne has money problems. Big ones. But being paid to play the pretend girlfriend to a wild life-of-the-party drummer couldn’t end well. No matter how hot he is. Or could it?
 Jenn's Review

Ever since I met the guys of Stage Dive, I knew I would be anticipating the release of each book. This is not a lie. And, as soon as I got word about Play, I was all over that. There was so much humor that I was constantly laughing out loud. But, we find out that the humor was used to cover up the heartache that Anne and Mal are dealing with.

Ever meet someone for the first time and realize this person has graced your walls, in the form of posters? No? Me neither. Well, as you can imagine, Anne’s brain becomes officially fried and she can’t make sense of her thoughts. Of course, Mal feeds off this and begins toying with her. It is downright fabulous!

Both Anne and Mal are dealing with their personal lives and neither is big on sharing. Instead, a deal is struck.  Give everyone a show. Make it look as real as possible. In order for this to look perfect, you have to practice, right? Well, yeah! Practice makes perfect. It doesn’t take long for real feelings to become involved. But, since no one wants to open up and reveal what’s inside, feelings are hurt. A heart (or 2) is crushed.
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. I didn’t read the blurb before I read the book. Sometimes I like doing that. I already knew it was going to be good. It looks like Lead is next and once again, I can’t wait!
