***Fear of Falling by S.L. Jennings Blog Tour Stop and Giveaway***

We have been so excited to share Fear of Falling with you!! We love S.L. Jennings and this book dearly and we hope you love it too!! Release date July 18.

Synopsis
I can’t remember the last time I felt completely safe. Security seemed more like a luxury to me, reserved for those who were fortunate enough to have picture perfect childhoods. For those who didn’t bear the ugly scars that keep me bound in constant, debilitating fear. I’ve run from that fear my entire life. But when I met him, for once, I couldn’t run anymore.
He scared the hell out of me in a way that excited every fibre of my being. It wasn’t the tattoos or the piercings. It wasn’t the warmth that seemed to radiate from his frame and blanket me whenever he was near. It was just…him. The scary beautiful man that threatened to alter 23 years of routine and rituals, and make me face my crippling fear.
My name is Kami and I am constantly afraid. And the thing that scares me the most is the very thing I want.
***Inspired by true events***

Sandy B's Review
“Your fears are not you. Do you hear me? They don't define who you are.” – Blaine Jacobs

“He had the eyes of a man that had seen things. Eyes that were soulful and wise, yet vibrant and sultry. Eyes that made me want to run away, yet urged me to stay.”  – Kami Duvall

Fear of Falling is a heart wrecking, stunning, emotional and finally transformational read.  Fasten your seat belts my loves because it’s gonna be a bumpy ride but holy shit – at the end – you will be as in love with S.L. Jennings and Fear of Falling as I am!  The subject of abuse and alcoholism are dealt with honestly and realistically in S.L. Jenning’s latest work.  There were moments that I cringed.  Moments when I cried.  Moments when I had to walk away from the Kindle.   Moments when my heart leapt with joy.  Moments when I laughed.  Moments when I cried.  Moments that I lived the words on the page as if I were physically in the book.
Kami has lived through some pretty ugly stuff and the scars run deep.  Angel is the poor little rich girl lesbian songstress and Dom is the gorgeous lothario that sleeps with every woman that crosses his path.  These three are damaged but together they are each other’s hope, each other’s safety and the only source of love they know.  UNTIL Blaine comes into the picture and instantly there is a chemistry that sizzles like electricity through a live wire.  Kami wants nothing to do with him because she “knows” that no man would want a messed up girl like her.  Not once they realized the extent of how not normal she is – or so she thinks.  Instead Blaine tells her “I need to know what’s made you so sad. And what I can do to take away every ounce of that sadness
Check out one of my favorite passages: “Love. It was the thing that bound us and tore us apart. It was our disease and the remedy of our shattered hearts. It was a sonofabitch.”  True dat people!
Kami’s demons are front and center.  Can she triumph over the fear?  The panic attacks?  The monster that is her past?
Blaine puts it all out there.  He gambles big that Kami will learn to trust him.  That she will see the truth of his love for her.  That she will believe that he’s the real deal Holyfield and he’s in it for the long haul, ride or die – no matter what.
Fear of Falling is a real departure from S.L. Jenning’s previous work and it certainly was not what I expected.  However, this was so above and beyond wonderful that I hope and pray her brain is full of more books, many more books waiting to be written.  Those that are familiar with her work might expect a hero like Dorian.  Well Blaine is NOT Dorian but the truth is you won’t care cause he is fabulous in his own right.

Author Bio

Most known for her starring role in a popular sitcom as a child, S.L. Jennings went on to earn her law degree from Harvard at the young age of 16. While studying for the bar exam and recording her debut hit album, she also won the Nobel Prize for her groundbreaking invention of calorie-free wine. When she isn’t conquering the seas in her yacht or flying her Gulfstream, she likes to spin elaborate webs of lies and has even documented a few of these said falsehoods.
