Christ on a cracker, I love Deena Bright! I had read Schooled and Schooled Too, back when they were released and laughed my way through both. Not to mention, the woman knows how to write a sex scene. So, when I was given the chance to read Schooled 4.0, I didn’t have to think twice.

This time, we are given Char and Jasper’s story, along with Sarah’s. And, I found myself getting quite emotional with both.

I love Char and Jasper! They are hilarious and it was awesome watching their relationship develop and play out, all in secret. That man knows how to use his…money! What did you think I was going to say?

And Sarah? Watching her figure things out and deciding what she wants was beautiful! I liked her character from the very beginning and I’m very glad that Deena gave us more of her.

Be ready to laugh your @$$ off and fall in love with several different people! Oh, and enjoy the accolades at the end of each book. They, too, are hilarious!

What can I say? Even though the book said it was smutless, I loved it!! Janelle, her friends, family and boyfriends provided so much entertainment, that I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. Oh, who am I kidding? I wanted her to choose ____, and I was desperate to get to the end to find out if I got my wish! If you remember, two men fell in love with Janelle and the feeling was mutual. Both Briggs and Leo decided they couldn’t live without her and were willing to share until she could make her final decision. They got the contract ready and for an entire month, the guys pulled out all the stops. I could see why she had a hard time choosing but my mind was made up already.

Janelle’s douchenozzle of a husband tried to crawl back. And, that was after he tried to pay another former student to lie to Janelle’s boss! This is also after, if you remember, he was caught doing the nasty with his skank secretary! Hahaha! He deserves everything he got! We also get to spend some quality time with Char, Janelle’s best friend. She is hilarious, vulgar and I love her! “I will cunt-punt you into the next time zone if you ever speak to me again”  I only wish I could come up with some of the phrases she has! But she begins making herself scarce and leaving Janelle wondering what in the hell is going on with her friend.

Janelle helps both of her men deal with tough situations and in the meantime she is trying to keep them from killing each other. But that doesn’t stop Briggs and Leo from being complete idiots at times and saying the wrong thing to Janelle. I don’t know how she didn’t haul off and smack them! But, I guess when emotions get in the way…  They stand up for her though. They get the community to stand up for her as well. Her career means so much to her and she doesn’t want to lose it.

Leo is struggling with the entire situation. He wants Janelle to choose him so badly but so does Briggs. Leo makes the decision to leave town for a while. He needs to be with family and he can’t stand to sit back and watch Briggs win her heart. What he doesn’t know is that he has as much of her heart as Briggs. I felt for both men throughout the book. We got a glimpse into their heads for a few chapters and it rocked! And like I said earlier, I knew who I wanted but I didn’t know until the last second, when Janelle was on the doorstep who she chose!! I loved loved loved it!!!! And then at the very end we find out what Char has been up to!!! That girl knows how to keep a secret!! I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did. It was tons of fun.

Jasper walked to meet them at the gate before they walked through. “What’re you doing here?” he asked, before Marcus could come through the gate.

“I’m just here to talk to my wife, Jasper,” Marc responded. Lauren huffed, crossing her arms over her enormous chest. Reduction, my ass.

I walked over to the gate, just as Marcus opened it and walked in. Jasper let him enter, but didn’t let him walk any further toward the pool. 

“Well…well…well…looks like my wife really is slumming,” Marcus said, being the prick that he is.  “Not only is she slumming….she’s getting her kicks at the preschool,” he said, laughing.  I couldn’t understand how he had the audacity to say such things to Leo and Briggs, when it was quite obvious that they could pulverize him in ten seconds flat.  He was such a narcissistic son-of-a-cocksucker.  “How’re my sloppy seconds anyway, Alexander?”

Within seconds, Leo and Briggs were on either side of us as Jasper began pushing Marcus back toward the gate.  “Alright Marc, you’re done here,” Jasper said.

“Why the fuck are you even here, you limp dick bastard?” Char screamed coming around to face him.  “Can’t you just leave her the fuck alone?”

“I came here to make amends, but I wouldn’t expect you…you little pyro…to know anything about redemption,” he said.

“Redemption?  Give me a fucking break. I’ll show you redemption…in Hell…you asshole,” Char was on fire.  It was bad when she got like this, because she couldn’t stop herself.

“Char, hold up, hon,” I said. “Marcus, just leave.  We’re having fun; the kids are here.  Just stop,” I said, feeling Leo’s hand on my back as Briggs stepped forward, inching closer to Marcus.

“Listen, I have an offer…an offer that I think you all would like to hear,” he said.  Looking around and eyeing each of us, he went on with his offer. “If you give me your half of the sale of our house, all of it, then I won’t press charges on your little heathens for breaking and entering,” he offered.  I felt Leo’s hand flinch on my back.  Continuing, he said, “And I’ll tell the news that this whole…whole…scandal was one big misunderstanding.”

Walking toward him, I said, “Let me get this straight, you want me to basically pay you….what….like 150 thousand dollars…to tell the truth?”

“And to save your fuck buddies from jail time.”

“What proof do you have of their so-called ‘breaking and entering,’ Marcus?” Char asked. 

“My word,” Marcus said. “And Lauren’s.”

“Whoren’s?” Char roared. “I don’t want to hear that fucking slut’s name.”

“Don’t call me a whore…or a slut,” Lauren whined. “Plus, Markie told me stories about you, Charlene.”

“I will cunt-punt you into the next time zone if you ever speak to me again,” Char threatened.  “Get back, and shut the fuck up, or I swear to God, I will lose my shit all over your ugly ass.”  Apparently, Char’s newfound desire to stop swearing was not going so well in a stressful environment.  I chuckled audibly at the thought, bringing all eyes back to me.

“I know, but that just sucks.  This has been the luckiest two weeks for you; I’m so jealous.” Char whined back. “First you get rid of that Fuck, then you have two young studs pining for you, and now New York and Jasper’s money.  I wanna be you.”  I loved talking to her; she always made me feel so good about myself.  Leave it to her to think that the end of my marriage was one of the best things that ever happened to me, something to be jealous of.  Maybe it was pretty great; things seemed pretty great.  I loved Char; everyone should get to have a Char in her life.  Leo wasn’t into me; Briggs, mmmm, Briggs.

Once we hung up, I looked in the mirror, pulled up my shirt, scrutinizing my stomach.  Flab. Jasper was right; it was time to start working on my body.  I’d started swimming when I moved in here.  What? Like three times.  Fine, I’d do a yoga video before bed, let it relax me, and help this jello belly at the same time.  I never understood how a flat stomach could still be so flabby.  Wasn’t it enough that I was eating right, somewhat right, and making sure I didn’t put on a ton of weight?  I knew so many wives and mothers who let themselves go once they got married and had kids.  I didn’t want to be like that.  A lot of good that did me now.

About 20 minutes in to my video, I was feeling pretty good, yet extremely sore from lack of practice.  I was in the infamous downward dog position when there was a knock on the window behind me.   I looked through my legs, making out Briggs’ silhouette in the dark.  I motioned for him to come around; the door was unlocked.  

“Don’t mind me, I’m enjoying the view,” he swooned as he walked through the door.  “Mm…mm…mm…, really enjoying the view.”  He sat down on the couch right behind me, watching me.

“Oh, I don’t think so, get your butt down here and stretch with me.”  I grunted through the rest of the held position.

“Nah thanks, I’m good.”  He sat back, putting his hands behind his head, grinning from ear to ear.  He looked good, too good.  He had on jeans, nice-fitting jeans, not the baggy, hanging half-way down his butt kind.  The jeans were perfect on him.  He had on a fitted turquoise v-neck, tucked in, his sleeves folded and pushed to his elbows.  The shirt was that thin-flimsy material that only well-built, muscle-y men could pull off.  And he could certainly pull it off.  He had a grey t-shirt under the turquoise shirt.  The blue and gray shirts brought the blue out in his eyes.  He was beautiful, mesmerizing really.   Yummy.

“I don’t think you understand Briggs Alexander.  Get down here and stretch with me, young man.”  I used my teacher look and voice.  “Now.” 

“Ah man, I came here to take you out, maybe get a drink, dance a little.”  He was whiny and cute, as he pulled off his shirt.  “I don’t wanna get all hot and sweaty.”

“Now Briggs, that disappoints me.  Are you sure you’re not still planning on getting hot and sweaty with me tonight?”  I got up and walked over to him, slowly.  He was staring at me, wearing my sports bra and my boy-cut Victoria’s Secret tight, booty shorts.

I bought and read this book about a month after it was released and as soon as it was over, I couldn’t wait to find out was happens next! This book is so sexy, sweet and funny. And when I say sexy, I mean SEXY!

Janelle Flowers is devoted to her husband. So much so that when it’s been 82 days since they’ve had any hanky panky, she is ready to find out why he hasn’t touched her and what they can do about it. Well, she get the shock of her life when she walks in on Marcus and his secretary getting it on in their house, in their bed! Not saying a word she heads out to a bar to wallow in misery. No more Flowers for her, soon she’ll be Janelle Garrity again.

 As luck would have it, she runs into a former student. Briggs Alexander is so hot and confident that just talking to him makes her sweat. The former football star also lets it be known that he wants her and in a bad way. But when he is finally getting his chance, he leaves her hanging. So class is in session and it’s time that Briggs get some lessons on how to please a woman. Fabulous stuff right here! I think we all could learn a thing or two from this book.

Janelle has to take a trip to New York for her brother along with someone from his company. That someone is Sarah, another former student. Sarah is a lesbian and tries to explain to Janelle what the difference was for her, being with a man versus a woman. They have a great night out and having drank several martinis, Janelle get a little hot and bothered with Sarah’s explanations. They both decide they will have their fun together and they each receive something they both needed but didn’t realize they missed.

Cue the entrance of Leo Cling, former nerdy guy that isn’t so nerdy anymore! He’s funny, attentive, strong and gorgeous! What’s a girl to do? Now Janelle can’t stop thinking about Leo or Briggs. And where she was giving Briggs his lessons, Leo lets her know that he’s been doing some studying of his own. Oh good grief! Can he be anymore perfect? Not to mention, he also came to her rescue when Marcus, the lying, cheating bastard, was trying to man-handle her. Leo is a little slow on the take though and almost loses his chance. And I tell you, you really need to read how he redeems himself. Cue the sexy times!!

Janelle now has two wonderful, sweet, sexy guys fighting for her attention and she has no idea what she’s going to do. Things get a bit more complicated when another student, Vince, tries to weasel his way in and Janelle is not having it. So to get back at her, he proceeds to cause a shit storm of trouble. Janelle is at risk of losing her job and her reputation. And at the same time, she loses both Briggs and Leo. They don’t want to share and she can’t choose between the two. I get you, Janelle. I wouldn’t be able to choose either! The boys have a plan though. They had no idea that the other one wasn’t seeing Janelle and they both decided they couldn’t live without her. We get a little taste of what’s in store but I wanted so much more!!

As if you couldn’t tell, I really enjoyed this book! The humor between friends, the love of family and the discovery of new relationships is wrapped up in this gift. I can’t wait to see what happens next with this trio. And, I really REALLY want to see Marcus go down in flames, just like his ping pong table! I hope you enjoy this book, like I did!
