Girl
(Katie) meets physcho killer, who ties her up and sets her house on fire. Super “hot” fireman (Holt) rescues girl. Katie is self sufficient. So what if she has to start all over from
nothing – no biggie right? Holt on the
other hand realizes this hot little librarian needs protection. Before you know it Katie is feeling things
for Holt and Holt wants to take care of this hot librarian. Every guys fantasy right? Let’s not forget that Katie has a stalker who
already tried to take her out!

I
really liked Tease. The dialogue was
crisper. The heroine (Harlow) was
spunky! The male lead is a hottie
bartender (Cameron). Harlow
is a good girl but she can’t pack it in and go crawling back home to her hole
in the wall small town life. What’s a
girl to do? Well…become a stripper of
course! Cam
wants to make custom surfboards for a living – in the meantime – he bartends
while flashing his “happy trail” to the patrons. Oh yes I said happy trail. I don’t know what those indentations are
really called but Lord they will make a girl stupid. Okay – I digress – back to the story at
hand. ;-) Despite tripping on her flip flops, falling
of the stage and spilling drinks on the patrons, Harlow
is a hit. Much to her surprise she gets
the job. The attraction between Harlow
and Cameron is instant but it is also believable. The glances, the smiles and gentle touches, I
bought it all! Though Cam knew exactly
what he was doing each time he “teased” Harlow
I think he found that he couldn’t help himself.
Harlow is funny and feels like two can
play that game. Though I can’t imagine
why she thinks that because Harlow - cue big
revelation music here – is a VIRGIN!
Unfortunately,
someone has set their sights on ending Harlow . After all she’s nothing but a tease and she
deserves to die. There are some actions
moments but I wanted more Harlow and Cam
moments. I really liked Tease and am
looking forward to Book #3 in the series “Tempt”.
Torch
and Tease were perfect light chick reads and I appreciated them. They were just what I needed after coming off
some heavy reads.
