***Blog Tour Stop and Giveaway*** Infinite Possibilities (The Secret Life of Amy Benson #2) by Lisa Renee Jones

Synopsis

Secrets and lies. They are everywhere: haunting her, tormenting her. In the midst of it all, he’d been her escape, her passion. The only person she’d trusted in six years. And then he’d made her doubt that trust, cutting her deeply. But as she’d once told him, she was damaged, not broken. She is ready to fight and not just for survival. She is fighting for the truth and she won’t stop until she has it, not even for…him

Jenn's Review
Finally!! We get to find out what is going on in Amy Benson’s life and why she is on the run!! I felt like the wait was wayyyy longer.
We start off exactly where Escaping Reality ended. Remember that? Heart pounding, jaw dropping moment when Amy over heard Liam and Derek. Amy is running all over Denver, making her plan to escape and hoping not to be found. But, Liam finds her at the airport.
“Run to me, not from me.”
What is she supposed to believe? He’s telling her he is protecting her and that he never lied to her. Making what she heard him say to Derek that much worse. She gets away but not before he tells her he will find her.
She’s doing the best she can. Working in a diner, trying to earn enough money to make a plan and find a safe ride back to Texas. Liam finds her again. He was able to pay a trucker to give up her location. Thing is, Liam wasn’t the only person looking for her. He was just the one with deeper pockets. He doesn’t give her a choice to leave with him and takes her to the only place that he knows is safe; his home. You can sense Liam’s relief, now that he found her and is not going to let her out of his sight. Amy wants answers but Liam doesn’t have them…yet.
Someone wanted her out of New York and now that’s she headed back there, her anxiety and black out episodes are in full force. One thing that hasn’t changed is the heat between the two. Even though Amy doesn’t fully trust Liam yet, her body does. Liam wants her; mind, body and soul and he will do whatever it takes to get her there again. But there are so many obstacles thrown at them. More questions and half answers.
I read as fast as I could. I wanted to know what the he!! was going on! There were some people to show up from Escaping Reality and I was almost changing my mind about what I thought was going on. But that seemed to be my problem throughout most of the book. I know who to trust, and I learned what happened and with whom, mostly. There are some good shockers throughout the story as well but once I finished, I really felt more confused about what Amy had learned. I liked the story but it felt unfinished. I’m sure we will learn more later but I’m not sure about that either. I give it 3.5 stars.

***Jenn's Review of Escaping Reality by Lisa Renee Jones***

Synopsis
Infinite possibilities….
Infinite passion…..
Infinite danger….

His touch spirals through me, warm and sweet, wicked and hot. I shouldn’t trust him. I shouldn’t tell him my secrets. But how do I not when he is the reason I breathe? He is what I need.

At the young age of eighteen, tragedy and a dark secret force Lara to flee all she has known and loves to start a new life. Now years later, with a new identity as Amy, she’s finally dared to believe she is forgotten–even if she cannot forget. But just when she lets down her guard down, the ghost’s of her past are quick to punish her, forcing her back on the run.

On a plane, struggling to face the devastation of losing everything again and starting over, Amy meets Liam Stone, a darkly entrancing recluse billionaire, who is also a brilliant, and famous, prodigy architect. A man who knows what he wants and goes after it. And what he wants is Amy. Refusing to take “no” as an answer, he sweeps her into a passionate affair, pushing her to her erotic limits. He wants to possess her. He makes her want to be possessed. Liam demands everything from her, accepting nothing less. But what if she is too devastated by tragedy to know when he wants more than she should give? And what if there is more to Liam than meets the eyes?

Jenn's Review
Escaping Reality is a fast-paced romance with a huge helping of mystery. From the beginning to the very end, I was hooked! And I mean that. There was not a slow moment in this book. That makes it very hard when it’s the middle of the night and I really need to go to bed but really don’t want to!
Amy isn’t allowed to settle anywhere. She is constantly on the run. From what? She doesn’t know! All she knows is that her handler saved her life and has a tattoo of a pyramid on his wrist. So anytime she sees that symbol, she knows to trust it. This time it’s a note saying she needs to get out, leave everything and get to the airport. Soon her name goes from Amy Reynolds to Amy Benson; she has a new history to learn and a new city to live.
While waiting for a seat on a plane that was overbooked, she sees the handsome stranger and he is staring right at her. She can’t look away from him and he knows it. He commands attention and he has hers. All too soon he boards the plane and she is left standing there. The airline has a seat for Amy and it’s in first class. She really doesn’t have time to question how she got the seat and finally boards before the door close. Just so happens as she’s trying to stow her bag, it’s the handsome stranger that is sitting beside her. There is something about this man. She feels as though he sees more than she is able to show. Revealing more about herself than allowed can get people killed. So she has learned to be alone, to take care of herself. It’s been years now and even though it’s a lonely life, it’s the safest.
Liam Stone. He’s the billionaire, recluse, and architect that pushes himself into Amy’s life. He wants her in more ways than one. And he lets her know. It doesn’t hurt that he is extremely easy to look at and he keeps her nightmares away. He has inserted himself into her life and she is starting to welcome it. No one has worried about her or cared for her in any way in so long. It scares and excites her at the same time.
“If you want to sleep,” he says, “I promise to keep Godzilla at bay for you.”
Amy tries to start her new life and Liam wants to make sure he is included. It makes him uncomfortable that she’s never met her boss, but he doesn’t understand. She can’t tell him the truth, as much as she wants to, because he could get caught up in the mess that has become her life. She has no idea who she is and can barely remember who she was! But she wants to trust Liam so badly. He has proven that he does want to take care of her. He knows she running from something and he wants to do all he can to keep her safe. He also knows she will tell him when she is ready.
Things are becoming odd for Amy. The people around her, even the ones not around her. She has more and more questions and the constant feeling she is being watched or followed. Even with the comfort Liam is providing, something is going on. She is not safe but she sees no other choice but to tell Liam the truth of what she has been running from and why. But before she gets to do that, Amy finds out some information that destroys what little bit of security she had. The danger she is in is worse than she thought and the only option she has is to run.
I loved everything about this book!! As I mentioned above, I felt there was not a slow moment. Everything seemed to be a small clue or just a little more information than what I had before. I am still reeling from the ending and as you probably guessed, it is a huge cliffhanger. That said, I cannot wait for the next installment! I need answers like yesterday!! I can honestly say that Lisa Renee Jones has done an amazing job on her first NA book. Looking forward to more!! 4.5/5

***Lesley and Jenn's review of Being Me by Lisa Renee Jones***

Synopsis
I arch into him, drinking in his passion, instantly, willingly consumed by all that he is and could be to me. . . .
Sara McMillan is still searching for Rebecca, the mysterious woman whose dark, erotic journal entries both enthralled and frightened her. Tormented by a strong desire to indulge the demands of her new boss while also drawn deeper into her passionate bond with the troubled artist, Chris Merit, Sara must face a past as deeply haunting as Rebecca’s written words. In one man’s arms, Sara will find the safe haven to reveal her most intimate secrets and explore her darkest fantasies. But is safety just an illusion, when the truth about Rebecca has yet to be discovered?

Lesley and Jenn's Review
ARC received via Netgalley.
Being Me is the second installment of the Inside out Trilogy. I must say this one was a suspenseful ride.  J and I (L) just so happened to –I guess you would say -buddy read this book.  Let’s just say it turned out to be awesome to vent and question along the way with someone. Since this review is so hard to do without spilling the goods, I thought it would be nice to get a two person view on this amazingly mysterious read. Hopefully, a way to talk about it without talking about it.
L: I’m going to start by saying that the author does a wonderful job at keeping you unbalanced throughout the story. I felt like until there was an absolute answer to a question in the book you really didn’t know who or what really happened. I had so many theories running through my head, that it was driving me slightly insane. I was dying to finish the book to put the little voices in my head to rest.
J: Ha! Exactly! Do you guys ever have the problem of your eyes moving faster than your brain and you have to stop reading, go back and make sure you read it correctly?! From the very beginning, I was a ball of nerves! Is she alone in the storage unit? Or is it her imagination? I couldn’t read fast enough! I wanted Sara to hurry up and figure out what she wanted from and with Chris. But, that was just the tip of the iceberg when it came to this book.
L: Oh. My. J you are right about that.  Is Chris going to let her in already or just push her into the Boss man’s arms? Is someone going to attack her? Is it Chris or maybe it’s the New York business friend of Mark’s? I just want to be like so and so did this and I can’t believe that happened but I really can’t because that would be giving the goods away. I will say this though, a lot of questions were answered in this book but a few were left unknown. I also feel that a few more suspicions have been added to fill in those answered slots. How is that for cryptic! LOL The author has managed to keep it fresh the whole way through, creating some intense moments. There are some moments where your heart is going to beat out of your chest and maybe break a bit.  I know mine did.
J: I couldn’t agree more! Some very big questions were finally answered but instead of feeling relief I was more heartbroken. I wasn’t expecting that! And, just like L mentioned, when one question was answered another was not. L also reminded me of a couple things that I hope we get answered in Revealing Us. I was so worried about wanting to know the identity of the Master that I completely forgot about something rather important. At least it is to Sara. And just when you think she is making progress with Chris, he turned my world upside down! At this point, L and I are chatting back and forth about what was going on and I was a wreck! Beer was my friend that night.
L:  It’s hard sometimes not hyper focus on one particular part of the story. I thought J and I both focused on different things so, we balanced each other out.   Hell, I was going into deep conspiracy theories. HA!  You know what surprised me a little? It was the fact that even though Chris is this domineering control freak, there wasn’t a whole lot of BDSM style scenes with Sara. They were still steamy but I almost felt like they could’ve been more. I don’t know maybe that’s just me and I have a sneaky suspicion that things may get more interesting in that department.
J: I agree. With someone that said he had so much darkness in him, only small bits came out. He was probably afraid Sara would run again! With the way Mrs. Jones ended the story, I feel like we will be going on another wild ride with Revealing Us. I have also found that I really enjoy doing a buddy read. Going back and forth with thoughts really helped me to devour this book. I loved reading the journal entries that lead us up to the story. Every little clue that Sara found took her down the rabbit hole a little more.
We give Being Me 4.5/5. Both of us dove into the story and didn’t stop until the end. Love a book that grabs hold and won’t let you go. I am still going to be on the edge of my seat until I get the next book. Honestly, I don’t know where in the heck this one is going to go and I LOVE THAT!

***Featuring Lisa Renee Jones and Giveaway***

Synopsis
When Sara McMillan finds a stack of journals in a storage unit, she’s shocked and enthralled by the erotic life the writer led. Unable to stop reading, she vicariously lives out dark fantasies through Rebecca, the writer—until the terrifying final entry.

Certain something sinister has happened, Sara sets out to discover the facts, immersing herself in Rebecca’s life. Soon she’s working at the art gallery Rebecca worked at and meeting Rebecca’s friends. Finding herself drawn to two dangerously sexy men, the manager of the gallery and a famed artist, Sara realizes she’s going down the same path Rebecca took. But with the promise of her dark needs being met by a man with confident good looks and a desire for control, she’s not sure anything else matters. Just the burn for more.

Excerpt
Chris captures my hands and forces them back to the glass above me, his breath warm by my ear, his hard body framing mine. “Move them again and I’ll stop what I’m doing, no matter how good it might feel.”

I quiver inside at the erotic command, surprised again by how enticed I am by this game we are playing. “Just remember,” I warn, still panting, still burning for his touch. “Payback is Hell.”

His teeth scrape my shoulder. “Looking forward to it, baby,” he rasped. “More than you can possibly know.”

My Thoughts

I came across this book late last year. Immediately intrigued, I dove right in. This book grabbed a hold of me and even at the end, it did not let go. The adventure Sara embarks on opens her eyes to things she's never imagined. You are also left guessing about those involved throughout the entire book. Just when Sara thinks she has figured something out, she second guesses everything. I also love that we get to read Rebecca's journal entries. I have devoured each one and can not wait to get the answers I hope to find in Being Me. I recommend you joining Sara in her search for Rebecca. You WILL NOT be disappointed!
