When the chance to review The Obsidian Collection came and after seeing the authors that were listed, I jumped on the chance! Several I was already familiar with and a few were new to me. And, even though I said I would read and review certain stories, I was enjoying them so much, I kept reading!

I started with Obsidian Escape by Rebel Adams and was immediately hooked.

I laughed and fanned myself all the way through Obsidian Liquor. I already had a crush on Scarlett Dawn and reading this little short story only solidified that!

Obsidian Heart by Nicole Flockton, what can I say other than, like the others, I REALLY wish the story continued!

Obsidian Ice by Missy Johnson was just what the collection needed to shake things up a bit. I knew it would be and it was, again, one of the reasons I wanted to read it.

Obsidian Desire by t.h. snyder read differently than the others, in my opinion, and it was fantastic! Chance encounters, hardening of the heart and trying to move on with life without success.

These were all so well-written! It can’t be easy to have so much to say and only have a few chapters to do it. You want to tell a good story without making it seem rushed. This collection had that. Of course I was left wanting much, much more but it certainly left me satisfied, in the end. It also gave me new authors to check out! Win/win for me!!
