After reading Axel, I could not wait to get my hands on
Cage. He is fiercely protective, the rock that many lean on and seriously HOT.
Remember Izzy from Axel? Well since she became like a sister to Greg Cage, it’s
only normal that he is Uncle Greg Cage to Izzy and Axel’s son, Nate. That’s how
he finds himself standing in the Dr’s office with Nate, in front of a woman that
has pretty much made his brain turn to mush. She is Nate’s nurse and Nate chooses
that moment to puke all over Cage’s clothes!
Cage is relentless in his pursuit of Nurse Melissa. But, she
has enough going on at the moment. Melissa’s sister was killed, leaving behind
a little boy. Melissa brings home the paycheck and helps her mom raise Cohen.
But Cage isn’t going to give up. Finally convincing her to come home with him,
they turn a night of passion into the entire weekend. Neither of them really
wants the weekend to end and Cage is more than willing to keep her there. And yes, Greg Cage is a BEAST! Let’s add some
piercings to the equation as well. I’m quite positive I wouldn’t want to leave
the bedroom either.
Oh, let’s add a crazy b!tch to the mix. Cage had hooked up
with a chick named Mandy. To me, if I was told this is sex only, you have no
hold over me…well, you get the picture. Well, Mandy did not. And when I said
crazy, I meant CRAZY! She got Melissa fired from her job, slashed her tires,
spied on Cage and Axel and on and on. Mandy caused some BIG problems with Cage
and Melissa. Luckily, Cage is so in love that he is not going to give up.
Secrets are found out that shouldn’t have been kept and
trust is tested. So what’s going to happen to the happy couple? Lots, that’s
what. I enjoyed Cage’s story. I flew through the story and I’m looking forward
to seeing them again in the future. There were a couple spots I felt may have
been rushed but I know sometimes if too much is added, it causes the story to
drag. No dragging here! Looking forward to more Beauty and her Beast in the next
