Review

Holy crap! OK first, Belle Aurora wrote this, so I had to read it! Second, the blurb had me very intrigued, so I had to read it! Now, after reading Night Fury, I am dying to know what’s about to happen! You will certainly know what I’m talking about when you read it for yourself.

Catarina goes about her day as any nun in training would. She has her chores and certain jobs to do. And maybe I was a bit slow to catch on but, you get conversations between Catarina and other characters that had me wondering what the heck was really going on.  I was in for a surprise when she walked into Father Robert’s office.

I love Father Robert, Sister Francis and Sister Arianne. They are Catarina’s family and she loves them dearly. You meet more characters later in the story but I don’t want to give too much away.

Night Fury is a quick read and will definitely leave you wanting/needing more! I loved  it but I already knew that I would. Thank you Belle! Can’t wait to see where you take us!!

I started Raw the other night and next thing I know it’s the middle of the night and the last thing I want to do is put the book down and go to bed! No matter their attitude, I loved each character. That never happens to me. And even though one (Ling) is a raging b!tch, she is redeemed later.

Lexi has a stalker. She has felt him for a while, always seems to know when he is there. She’s never seen his face; he stays covered with a hood. When she gets home from work one day, Lexi is attacked outside her apartment. It’s her hooded stalker that ends up saving her. He takes her inside and tends to her wounds. Even though she probably shouldn’t, she feels safe with him there. And, since every time she closes her eyes she sees her attacker, she asks him to stay. He calls himself Twitch and he really doesn’t give her much more than that. Not his real name and nothing about him. Just enough that should scare her away but it’s too late. She feels protected, even though she shouldn’t. Even though he’s dangerous and knows he could hurt her, she wants him.

Twitch wants her too. And he wants her to submit to him. Then when she does, he wants to hurt her. She gave him hope. She made him think that at least one person cared about him but, that was a lie. No one cared about him and he was almost killed proving that. That night, changed him. He is angry and he wants to do something about it. So he’s lured her into his trap and the plan is set. And, along the way…something changes. A feeling he’s unfamiliar with starts seeping in. Love. She wants to help him. He knows he needs help but it’s too late for that. Nothing can help him, so there love will have to be enough.

But, there are things that even he can’t control and Lexi is caught in the middle. I’m going to stop here. I’m afraid that if I keep going, I’ll give it all away! I can’t begin to tell you how much I loved this story. It was a great way to end the year. And just like the title, it was Raw. It was dark, dirty, gritty, funny in places and frecking HOT! And, I LOVED every second of it; I can’t seem to say it enough. I hope you love it as much. If I could I would give it 10 stars but I’ll have to settle with 5 heart pounding, in your face stars!!
