***Pearl by Arianne Richmonde Blog Tour Stop and Giveaway***

When our awesome, fabulous, took on a life of it's own, little blog was just getting started a handful of months ago, an invite for The Pearl Trilogy came through. I had already read the first book last year and jumped at the opportunity! Well, when I found out that we were going to get inside Alexandre's head, I could not wait!! It's finally here and further down I'll share a few of my thoughts on the book. Enjoy!!

Synopsis:
The book that Pearl Series fans have been asking for: the flip side of the tale. The story according to Alexandre Chevalier.

At only twenty-five, Alexandre Chevalier is a billionaire. His social media site, HookedUp, is more popular than Twitter, more global than Facebook. With his drop-dead gorgeous looks, alluring charm and wealth, he has women falling at his feet, desperate for his attention.
But his heart is set on only one woman: Pearl Robinson.
Alexandre’s dark and dysfunctional past makes him crave stability and a normal relationship, but he soon finds out that Pearl is a bird with a broken wing. Why, he isn’t sure.

Pearl, follows Arianne Richmonde’s bestselling books in The Pearl Trilogy: Shades of Pearl, Shadows of Pearl and Shimmers of Pearl; the tumultuous and heart-rending love story between forty-year-old documentary producer, Pearl Robinson, and French Internet billionaire, Alexandre Chevalier, fifteen years her junior.

Pearl is written from Alexandre’s point of view from the moment they first meet on a rainy summer’s day in a coffee shop in New York City.

In any relationship details are hidden; things are left unsaid.
Not all conversations are remembered in the same way.
And not all actions are disclosed—especially to the one you love most.

This book (Part 1 of 2) is approximately 53,000 words long, just over 200 printed pages.   Part 2 is scheduled for release in October.

Because of Alexandre Chevalier’s prowess in the bedroom, this novel contains erotic content and strong language.
Intended for readers aged 18 and over.

Jenn's Review
I was so excited when I found out about Pearl. Alexandre was a complex man in The Pearl Trilogy but you really have no idea until you read Pearl. I am not exaggerating, not even a little bit. What we do know is that he is 25, crazy rich and very easy on the eyes. It’s when you finally get into his head, you see the unsure and non-trusting young man that wants to be Pearl’s knight in shining armor.
As soon as Alexandre looked at Pearl in the coffee shop, he wanted her. BAM! The more he got to know of her, the more he wanted from her. And not just a romp in the bed. Or against the wall. Or in the shower, well you get my drift.
“With all the women I had been with (and there have been far, far too many) this one was different.”
But here’s what he knew about women. How to please them in bed. He used his prowess to his advantage and it worked for both parties. Now he’s met someone and he can tell Pearl is interested but is it his money, his company that she wants? His sister Sophia certainly isn’t helping. She’s mouthing off about Pearl every time she gets the chance.
He knew he would have to take it slower with Pearl. He knew she had been wounded in the past and he had to make her want him, desperately. And…. It worked! He still had his doubts though. Gone was the shyness that Pearl carried and he seriously wondered if she was being truthful about herself. But also in the back of his mind was; what could a 25 year old offer this gorgeous and sophisticated woman? She didn’t want his money but she certainly loved his d*ck!! This stood out to me because in The Pearl Trilogy, she was saying the same about herself. She was afraid that he would figure out he could do better and find someone younger than her. When it came it that, they were of the same mind, just 15 years apart.
Another hurdle Alexandre had to cross was telling the women he’d been involved with that he was no longer available. One of those women didn’t take it too well. At all!! Poor Alexandre!
And finally, we meet Laura. Do you remember her from The Trilogy? Well, even if you do, you didn’t see this side of her! Pearl had a wallop of an ending and it all revolves around Laura and what she’ll do to get what she wants. I can honestly say that I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. I immediately sent Arianne a message but I was still so shocked, I couldn’t get the words out that I wanted to say! I devoured this book and loved every second of it. Especially his version of climbing through her window dressed as a fireman. ;-)
